Creating Consumer Demand With A New Product Launch
Handi-Foil found opportunity to gain market share by creating new products to meet the needs of eco-conscious consumers. Eco-Foil was the first and only line of foilware pans made from 100% recycled materials in the U.S. To support the launch, creating brand trust and interest for retailers and consumers was key.
We developed an informative microsite to educate on the product, as well as on the benefits of recycled aluminum. Facebook started discussion about “greener living” and an online PR program further pushed the story. Trade pub ads reached buyers to highlight consumer demand and prove success for same store sales. The launch successfully generated over 35,000 new Facebook fans in only a few months, and has led to continued increases in retail distribution and sales.
