The discovery phase was the first step in overhauling the Badger Alloys website. Stevens & Tate Marketing collaborated with Badger Alloys to better define the company’s competitive strengths. This involved discussions, competitor website reviews, and tours of the various operations across Badger Alloys’ expansive campus. Photography and video shot lists were also developed.
Stevens & Tate treated the website as a full redevelopment, allowing for the exploration of enhancements to reflect what Badger Alloys is today. The objective was to captivate potential clients’ leadership with a more dynamic and engaging website while impressing engineers with Badger Alloys’ deep expertise in casting alloys, highlighted through the alloy search tool.
Content played a crucial role in both refreshing Badger Alloys’ narrative and boosting SEO performance. While Badger Alloys crafted the copy, Stevens & Tate focused on identifying and providing key search terms and phrases. Specific pages were developed to feature content such as the industries served, with the dual purpose of enhancing SEO. Minimizing unqualified leads was key to the project so the request-a-quote forms were refined to include key questions and dropdowns. That helped site visitors determine if their project suited Badger Alloys’ capabilities.
Stevens & Tate approached the Alloy search tool as a standalone project within the broader website redevelopment. To ensure it effectively supported engineers, the process involved close collaboration with Badger Alloys’ engineers and estimators.
